 Discipleship Minimize

We believe in making disciples for Jesus Christ.

1.  Small groups and Bible studies form us spiritually.  We believe in an intentional effort of those in the church to engage in these activities.

2.  We believe that we give of ourselves in Loving God and neighbor both in our service and our gifts.  Our generosity is to be extravagant.

Find below opportunities for your spiritual walk:

Sunday School for Children and Adults - Begins with assembly at 10am on Sunday morning.

Children and Youth on Sunday Evenings:
The "Kids for the Kingdom" program began on August 29th.  It will continue through the first of November for the fall session.  The program lasts 4pm to 5:30pm.

Pre-school - Ages 3 and 4 will initially meet together and then by themselves for a time of story telling with "Theo" the puppet followed by 2 discovery stations. They will end with the rest of the group.

Elementary - Ages 5 through 10 will meet together for songs and a skit to be followed by 3 discovery stations. They will spend some time at the end with their "circle of friends" to be sure the Bible point of the day has been understood. They conclude with the final gathering of all ages.

UMYF - Our youth group makes missions a priority.  They meet each Sunday from 4 to 6pm.

Adults throughout the week:

Wednesday of Worship:  We have devotions and prayer every Wednesday at at 7pm.  We are having a once a month meal at 6:15pm on the 3rd Wednesday of the month for a time of fellowship.  Morning prayer is currently on Thursdays at 6:30am in the morning.

Bible or topic studies are carried on throughout the year. Some of the past studies have been:

Methodiism, Discipleship, Faith Sharing, the book of Revelation, Living the Kingdom of God.

How Can I be Saved?

A - Assent

The first step is to acknowledge we are sinners.  See Romans 3:10, 3:23

B - Believe

The next step is believe that even though we have sinned against God, God made a way of salvation for us through Jesus Christ.  See Romans 5:12, 6:23, and Romans 5:8.

C - Confess

The final step is to repent (confess our sins) and demonstrate in our living that Jesus is Lord of our lives.  See Romans 10:9-10, 10:13.  Salvation occurs by the grace of God.  It is by faith alone and not on works.  John Wesley stated, “the faith that justifies (saves) is alone (not on works), but justifying works are never alone (our lives are transformed.”  See Romans 12:1-2).
